Apply for a Key Club Scholarship

To be eligible to apply, you must be a Key Club member at one of the following high schools:

East Ridge High School, Hope Preparatory Academy, South Lake High School, Montverde Academy, First Academy High School or Real Life Christian Academy.

Students: Before you begin your application, please have the following information ready in order to complete your application.

**Please note, several of these forms require teachers and/or guidance counselor information and/or signatures. DO NOT wait until the last minute to send this information to your school administrators.

• Guidance Counselor Form
• Two (2) Teacher Recommendations
• Verification of Service Hours Form
• Resume
• 1-Page Essay (1-2 paragraphs per question) addressing the three questions below – Separate attachment can be uploaded or answers can be copied/pasted and uploaded into the essay section.
  • 1. Describe your reason(s) for applying for a scholarship. Be sure to include any extenuating circumstances that would adversely affect your ability to pay for your continuing education.
  • 2. Describe an event or moment in your life that affected or changed you.
  • 3. Describe what “Community” means to you and describe any positive impacts you have made in the South Lake County Community to date or hope to make in the future.

Scholarship Deadline is Friday, March 28, 2025 at midnight (12 am).
